Simply Dutch Farm is a small American Alpine goat dairy in Waverly Hall, Georgia. In 2012 we were blessed to acquire this land and started clearing and building fence to support our growing dairy herd. The farm is based on our simple plain folk living and dairy background founded in North East Missouri. Amos Horst, the founding dairy farmer in our family taught us much of the practices and techniques that we use today. It is in his honor and memory that we continue to use the time honored hard working methods he taught us to tend to our pure bred Alpine herd. Each animal is an integral member of our farm and family and the health and welfare of our goats is of greatest concern. We are members of the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) and use their performance programs to better our herd. We sell our farm products under a pet milk licence because we do not pasteurize the milk. You can find us at the Midland, Ga. farmer's market every Saturday. |
